Finally the national day celebrations!
and a well deserved break too;
Sometimes I find it weird that im not looking as forward to the parade as much as I used to be back then.
What’s national day? Extra time for sleeping.
I remember the music lessons in primary school – clap hands, do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do, sing songs like Voices from the Heart, Di Tanjong Katong (rings a bell right?) while our dear teacher will play the piano. lol!
Oh and she had curly hair too. but that was 8 years ago.
Chanced upon this ndp website, what’s most memorable was the archive of ndp songs. (http://www.ndp.org.sg/downloads/audio/pastyear.php)
Actually I do agree with most people that ndp songs worsen every passing year. but that’s because the focus changes. The old songs sound good ok. =D
As I am listening to them now, there’s this nostalgic feeling deep inside. lolz.
